Meet the Chefs

Meet the a few of the chefs responsible for your delicious dinners at The Iron Bridge!  

Dan Frack, graduate of the Culinary Institute of America-Hyde Park, is the man responsible for our smoked salmon appetizer and blueberry bread pudding, among other things.
Milton Piper is a graduate of Stratford University and mastermind behind our delicious desserts.
Ivan Melson, graduate of Stratford University, can be found either tending the bar on weekend nights or making sure your food is perfect back in the kitchen.

Coming Up at "the Bridge"


There's always something going on at Iron Bridge in Warrenton!  Mark your calendars...you won't want to miss what's coming up!  Our weekly Thursday night wine tastings (6-8pm)  resume March 1, starting with Loudon Valley Vineyards, followed by Chateau O'Brien and Cobbler Mountain Cellars.  


Our paired wine dinners featuring Virginia wineries also return this March, with Hume Vineyards kicking it off on Sunday, March 18th (details to follow).  Stay tuned for more wine dinners coming up this spring and summer!

And guess what 100th anniversary is coming up in April?  No, it's not Bob's birthday...it's the Titanic's dinner that never was...would you like to join us for an "authentic" early-1900s style dinner (less the excess water and large chunk of ice)?  Oh yeah, and sorry fans...no Leonardo or Kate.  For example, we might serve 7 wine-paired courses, plus an amuse-bouche as guests arrive and of course a dessert course.  If this interests you, let us know!  Email bob@ironbridgewines.com if you'd like to see a Titanic Wine Dinner at "the Bridge" this April.

Valentine's 2012

Valentine's Day is upon us!  While our weekly specials and regular menu are taking a break tonight and tomorrow (so no mussels tonight or steak night tomorrow, but don't worry, burgers will be back on Wednesday), we've got plenty of Valentine's offerings for you!  Check out our full menu (and click to enlarge it and download if you'd like) and then view some photos of several specials below...


Grilled shrimp with pineapple salsa

Arugula salad with apple, walnuts, & citrus vinaigrette

Smoked salmon salad with capers, red onions, mixed greens, and creme fraiche dressing

Come get your gourmet burgers tonight at Iron Bridge...it's Burger Night!  Try our Angus burger with soy lime glaze, gruyere, and pickled jalapenos, our steak burger with cheddar, bacon and curried ketchup, or our veggie burger, a portabella with roasted red peppers, mozzarella and basil mayo.  Our burgers can't be beat...come try one tonight!

You don't want to miss these steak specials!  Join us at Iron Bridge tonight to try one of these three delicious dinners...a 12 ounce ribeye, dijon glazed and served with cheddar-scallion polenta and French beans, a flank steak, blackened and served with sweet potato hash and spinach, and our tenderloin tip stroganoff with mushrooms, peppers and onions.  Your choice of steak, plus soup or a side salad...makes for a tasty night out!  

Try the ribeye with Foxglove Zinfandel from California.

We've paired our tenderloin tip stroganoff with Atteca Garnacha from Spain.
